Flat Atom is a Madison, WI-based aggro-rock quintet. Their music, which is mostly original, is a unique blend of industrial metal sounds and rhythms, punk/hardcore aggression, and psychedelic influences. Members contribute in their own particular manner to the sonic mayhem. Nick provides hardcore-influenced vocals balanced with soft singing against The Thump's Iommi-meets-Jourgenson guitar thrashings. Shaun's rock-solid, yet melodic bass lines mesh with Dave's powerful drumming to form a strong foundation for the music. And last, but not least, over all of it Jay sprinkles filtered and delayed post-modern synthesizer flourishes.
